SCIENTIFIC, UNITS, LOGIC CALCULATOR

for iPhone, Apple Watch, iPodtouch, and iPad

SC-323PU

The SC-323PU is a multifunctional calculator. It is designed in a way to simulate the visual and operational aspects of a true pocket calculator to make the user immediately familiar with its interface.

This calculator offers
four general modes for
different tasks.

All modes share the same memory contents, and calculation value, so that different calculator modes can be used in one calculation task.

D.A.L. Mode   Direct Algebraic Logic

Supports fraction calculations and scientific calculations.

Complete arithmetic expressions are entered in the same order as they normally would be written in.

It allows to make corrections during entry and gives the possibility to reuse and modify already used expressions.

  • Floating decimal point calculations with 20 digits mantissa and 2 digits exponent.
  • Priority of calculations according to a given mathematical formula.
  • Calculations: Four arithmetic calculations, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions, reciprocals, square roots and cubic roots, x th roots of y, squares and powers, logarithmic and exponential functions, factorials, permutations, combinations.
  • Math menu with additional calculation functions.
  • AER (Algebraic Expression Reserve) that is convenient for repetitive calculations of expressions and formulas.
  • Complex number calculations.
  • DEG/RAD/GRAD selection.
  • Different display modes: floating point decimal, fixed point decimal, scientific notation and engineering notation.
  • Calculations with fractions and conversions between display of fractions or decimal results.
  • Simplifying of fractions
  • Greatest common divisor and least common multiple.
  • 47 physical constants.
  • Variables A to Z and θ.

Scientific Mode

Scientific calculations with sequential algebraic input logic. Here the calculation will be performed already during entry.

  • Floating decimal point calculations with 20 digits mantissa and 2 digits exponent.
  • Four arithmetic calculations, constant calculation.
  • Priority of calculations according to a given mathematical formula.
  • 30 levels of parentheses or pending operations.
  • Two independently accessible memories for memory calculations.
  • Additional memory slots to store values.
  • Values can be exchanged with the pasteboard.
  • Calculations: Trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions, conversion of angles and time, reciprocals, square roots and cubic roots, x th roots of y ( x √ y ), squares and powers, logarithmic and exponential functions, factorials, permutations, combinations, conversions of coordinates.
  • Complex number calculations.
  • DEG/RAD/GRAD selection.
  • 47 physical constants.
  • Different display modes selectable: floating point decimal, fixed point decimal, scientific notation and engineering notation.

Units Mode

Convert between different units and currencies.

Perform time calculations or calculations with mixed units.

  • Conversions between different units including currencies.
  • Calculations with mixed units.
  • Time calculations
  • Frame rate calculations
  • The calculator is shipped with 84 physical units and 16 SI prefixes predefined.
  • Exchange rate of currency units will be updated automatically from the internet.
  • Additional units can be defined by user.
  • Single and two lines view modes optimized for different conversion tasks.

Currency – Length – Area – Volume – Power – Velocity – Energy – Temperature – Mass – Pressure – Time – SI Prefix –3 × user defined

Logic Mode

Convert between 4 base systems and perform boolean operations.

  • Conversions between 4 base systems HEX, DEC, OCT, BIN.
  • Two base systems can be displayed at the same time.
  • Basic arithmetic operations including modulo division.
  • Boolean operations AND, OR, XOR, NOT; bit shift and rotate operations.
  • Conversion from “little endian” to “big endian” format and vice versa.
  • Handling of 8, 16, 32 and 64 bit modes, including overflow calculations.
  • Signed/unsigned mode.
